United in Vilnius Student Hackathon, our team agreed on the fact that in today’s world full of environmental issues, it is essential to incentivize youth to feel responsible for our mother earth and to encourage them to take action. Volunteering is becoming more and more popular, Lithuanian schools even made it mandatory to collect social work hours for students from 5th to 12th grade. That sounds great but doesn‘t reflect the situation in reality.
